EFFIE PAPPA

Effie Pappa is a director and animator based in Athens, working internationally. Her acclaimed stop motion short My Stuffed Granny won over 20 awards, including at Edinburgh and Tokyo, and competed at Annecy. She directs commercials and music videos, notably Yusuf/Cat Stevens’ Wild World and Giorgos Hadjipieris’ The Little Elephant, which has over 90 million views. Featured in Rolling Stone and Vimeo Staff Picks, Effie is developing her first 2D children’s series, My Name is Lulo!, winner of the 2024 Athens International Children’s Film Festival Script Development Competition and part of the Cinekid Script LAB.
